In the mid eighties, ELBE started with a Representative in the US, where products were distributed. Beginning in the nineties, a warehouse and an assembly store was founded under the name Elbe & Sohn Inc. Since 2001 Elbe & Sohn Inc., located in South Haven MI, has had its own facility.
The current core business is focused on the complete assembly of Propeller shafts for various application as well as double joints for powered steering axles. Additionally we distribute customized in- and output yokes as well as ball and socket joints. All individual components are produced by the main facilities in Europe.
